And I noticed it's rated R for some sexuality, so I'm assuming there's sex scenes. How bad are they, revealing? Would it be okay to watch with my 12 year old step sister?

I actually don't remember those scenes. But that could be because I watched it on tv and they took all those parts out. What I remember is they shoot a guy in the head and take A LOT of cocaine. I wouldn't let a 12 year old watch ANY rated R movie. I really enjoyed the movie and that's saying something because I haven't seen any R movie that I've liked. The website has all info on what kids should watch.

It was so-so. For a 12 yr old it might be kinda boring. The pacing is like Goodfellas if you've ever seen that. It's a quasi-biography of the first guy who started large-scale cocaine smuggling into the US. Some sex, don't remember how bad though - so probably nothing exceptional.
If you're willing to put up with that level of violence and sex, but want something that moves quicker I recommend Kiss, Kiss Bang, Bang. It's funny to boot.

Its a really good movie!!!!!!!!!! I cant really recall any graphic sex scenes or sexual content -- its been a while since I watched it... probably some frisky action between Depp and Cruz.... Don't think you should watch it with your 12 year old step sister... the use of drugs in the movie is a bit much!!!

Definately yes. This film introduces the real person named "Boston" George, the man who almost single-handedly introduced America to the cocaine explosion in the '70's. It also shows how he became a total coke-head himself and all the problems that came about by his success as a drug kingpin. But he had problems with his former business partner who helped him form his connections in Columbia. His marriage breaks down, he loses his daughter, and is finally imprisoned, sold-out by his old buddies from the pot running days. The movie ends with him in jail, eternally awaiting the visitation by his estranged daughter. Kind of a tragic film in many ways.

Blow is a movie kinda like Scarface. It shows the glamour of drug addiction and distribution, and in the end shows how the characters spiral downward into their own private hell.

no to long winded not enough plot, **** out for no good reason other than to get guys to watch. worst movie i have ever seen, and i sat through titanic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah its one of Deeps best roles out there.
But dunno about the sis she might wanna wait a few more years to see it.
