I'd have to say around 4. If somebody tells me they are getting up super-early in the morning, I could understand 4 a.m - maybe they have a plane to catch. But that same trip, taking place to 3:30 a.m.. to me takes place in the middle of the night.

but i'm soliciting some other opinions.. what do you think?

When I worked the switchboard at a hotel the message changed to "Good Morning" at 5:00 AM.

Technically 12:00 AM is morning though.

Morning begins with a nice morning scent of fresh air coming from the garden filled with Cyclamen and Cape Jasmine Gardenias. A goodmorning from your loving girlfriend. Most of all finding out that you're blessed with another beautiful day.

It officially begins at 12:00 A.M./"Midnight"...

but I guess 4 A.M. is really the crack of dawn when morning actually starts...

It officially begins at midnight. basically when the "pm" turns to "am", cuz after 11pm, it becomes what one calls midnight or 12 am. Kinda funny isnt it, to think the next day starts when its still dark, and is still gonna be dark for another 6 hours or so? :) Hope this helps.

In ancient times before clocks, morning was at 6am and was called 1st hour. They say Jesus was crucified at the 9th hour and its agreed by alot of scholars that this was a 3pm

In my mind, the next day doesn't begin until I go to bed and wake up - so morning happens when I wake up.
