Is Holland good enough for you?
My very good friend has had a neg. test (three times!!!) and turned out to be pregnant... No test is 100% secure and it might be that your body makes a low amount of pregnancy hormones... too low to be detected by a test.
If you want to be really sure: wait 3 days and repeat the test. Still not sure? Then ask your doctor for disclosure. (it happens a lot)

this weekend Im a week late so I took test previously at14dpo and 15spo, which were negative then my period was late by 2 days and I done a cheap tesco test positive, my boyfriend did not believe it so we went and got a clear blue (pack of 2) both negative, one done first thing in morning as well, later that day I bought a chemist brand one, dark line straight away. So tests definately do vary. Clear blue is not accurate at all.

the first test i took said negative the second, third, fourth and fifth said negative finally on the sixth test it said positve. You may have taken the test too early and the test are not 100% most are really close but there always is a chance

you can test negative and actually be pregnant, but if it comes up positive then you deffo r pregnant, they always said, when i worked at the hospital, that a negative can be positive, but a positive can't be negative.

yeah me!
currently 12wks pg and did two that came up negative. but i just 'knew' and i was right
it all depends on when you do the test i wouldnt try till at least a week late its all to with hormone levels and a hpt is as accurate as a drs one

the only guaranteed test is a positive so if your test was negative it could be false

yes, you can always get false negatives because they work on the level of hormones in your system(which increases as time goes on) i had a negative result when pg with my son.
