U mean the songs from India or the songs by native Indians in US?
Anyways...i wanna take this oppurtunity to trip on these freakin female artists from India. :) They r damn sad. They think that if the have big bust size n good legs to show off, they can make music. Their voice is so horrible. I can stand any indian singer. The oldies were quiet k. But theyr also intollerable at a certain stage.BTW if u were talkin abt Natives in US pls pardon me for droppin a wrong answer here. Geeeeeee!!!

Great question....obviously the high pitched singing is something Indians like...but it sounds awful to most of us non-Indians....Dont they have the likes of Celine Dion or Mariah Carey there? surely they must have better singers....I am from Vancouver, Canada and agree that there are terrible male singers now making a great living "singing"...like that sucky band Nickelback from Vancouver..they totally suck, but somebody buys their records....everybodys taste is different...makes the world an interesting place.

Many of the Bollwood movies are dubbed by just a few singers. One lady (whose name escapes me for,the moment) sang in several thousand films.) The actresses do not do the singing they just lip sync, act and generally look stunning.

i think that you are wrong. actually, for your information, most indian actresses can't speak tamil. and their voices are dubbed. maybe that's why you feel that they are the same.
