Yes; I know some women that are both Republican and pro-choice. They are independent, educated, intelligent and responsible people. I'd say that they are liberal on social issues such as abortion rights and more conservative on crime and punishment or business issues.

Okay I am an independent that usually votes Republican. I am Pro Choice but I also believe that abortion is usually the wrong choice morally and ethically. I am also pro women I believe. Maybe that is because my kids are girls too! That does not mean that I agree with everything that NOW says either. It is getting to the point where everyone is supposed to follow the party line without question, or your an outcast.
To The Nice G - Dumbed down masses in the bible belt? Your from an educated state? Like handing out glass pearls to the Incas? Sounds to me your alot like the Spaniards! Egotistical, Greedy, Superiority complex. History showed us what the Spaniards were. They destroyed a great culture and civilization for their personal wants. Looks like you have the same principles as them.

None that I know of.
Most of the Republicans I know are Pro-life but say they're pro-women..but don't back women in public roles.
But I do not claim any specific political affiliation. I'm pro-Choice and most obviously Pro-women!
No matter what a women chooses to do with her life! Career, education, marriage, motherhood...as long as it's her choice and she hasn't been forced into it...it's all good!

My father used to be a republican. That was before the Bush years. He was pro-choice when he was. My grandfather is a republican as well. I think he's pro-choice as well. I'm not sure though. I'm pro-choice myself and most definitely pro-woman. :)

All republicans i know are also pro choice, but then again i live in an educated state. The anti-choice league is appealing to the dumbed down masses in the bible belt where one can scoop up votes by appealing to the basic instincts of masses. Just like giving glass pearls to the Incas when the Spaniards came over to conquer them. Same principles...

Pro Woman? Is there an pro/anti-women stance now? Does that mean there is also a pro/anti-men stance? I'm going to go picket against men on odd days and women on even days outside city hall from now on just in case.

Pro woman? I don't know any republicans who are pro-choice. I know many women who feel that abortion is murder. I also know a few women who have had abortion and are emotionally scarred from it.
