i've been best friends with the guy and he's asked me out before but i continuiously told him we were just friends.
but he moved away. And i wont see him for 3 years. Its only been one and i always feel alone without him. He's the perfect guy for me but im not sure how to tell him so.
He's the only man I'd ever even think of marring.
Can anyone help me?

That's a hard question to answer,.... there's a lot of info that we don't know, that would effect our answer ie we don't know everything that happened within your history with him.
But then again, who ever does!?
I've been in situation similiar to yours, and it's really difficult to admit those things; probably more difficult is the fear of denial or loss. Try to take a trip to see him, and enjoy the time together and see if all those feelings are as true as you think. Sometimes the mind expands things beyond what they are when they're gone.
If you can spend enough time with him and those feelings are truely there, then just tell him the history of your feelings. A friend and someone that has feelings can't help but like to hear that. Men are just like women, in that they trust love when they know it's been growing for sometime and it's based on something other than whim.

if you are meant to be together with him then things will just turn out great, don't ever rush to ask a guy to marry you coz u will be deeply embarassed when you discover that he might not think you are the one he intends to spend the rest of his life with, so don't make yourself feel lonely just coz he isn't there, go out and have fun with other guys, you never know who could be the right one for you

Totally been through tht..you like them but then u didn't really see a future with them. Sry, but there's nothing you can do. I had another in mind back then, but then even till today, I think I made the right decision b/c he sounded all faithful and crap back them. He went back with his ex..wht can I say? when you think abt it..maybe you didn't kno him tht well afterall.

You better start writing him about this...before somebody else sees the qualities in him that you see. A letter is a good way to express your true feelings.
