Generally speaking, if it is white/blue smoke then your valve seals are leaking just a little. The oil that is trapped above the cylinder when the motor is shut down is leaking into one or more of your combustion chambers. It produces white smoke when burned. These are very slow leaks. It will probably get worse over time. If it is black smoke, then you have unburned fuel coming out of your exhaust. There are many reasons this could be happening.

what color is the smoke? white is normal on a cool morning, black is a sign of carbon build up in engine or dirty air filter. Blue is a sign of burning oil.

you may have carbon build up on your cylinder heads..this is going to be a big problem for you in the future if you don't get it removed.

or you are burning oil somewhere and thus your tail pipe is smokin'..most likely in your engine.
at any rate..better get it checked out.

If it's blue, it's the valve seals
