Great question...
Not only are the incredibly sexy (on a sexy woman, of course) but they are also very functional...the amount of times I have been caught on the hope whilst on a date and had to use the nylons to replace the fan belt on the Bentley; to strain some tea for an emergency cup of tea (well, this is England, don't ya know); or even wear then as a disguise for my face when getting mobbed by angry villagers (some people get offended when you park your car in their swimming pool when drunk...)

My wife is at her sexiest when she puts on her fully fashioned seamed stockings and high heeled sandals. It is a signal that we are in for a delightful evening and while we are out eg at a restaurant every gesture and touch is a prelude for what is to come when we get home. I agree with the view that really great legs deserve quality hose just as a great picture needs a good frame. Stockings and suspenders are a great frame.

Yes, they are very nice. Even the Mona Lisa has a frame around it - garter and stockings just make something beautiful look even better.
