It's possible to get pregnant at *any* time during your period.

A women's period normally starts 14 days after ovulation. The best time to get pregnant is the day of ovulation and up to 3 days after ovulation. So basicly she is less fertile after her period, but you never know for sure when ovulation will occur! If she knows her body well then she will most likely know when it happens. It's unlikely that she was fertile 4 days before, but who knows. That is why you shouldn't be having sex!!! If you really cared for her, even if you just slightly liked her, you wouldn't be having sex with her at all! Get married first! Then you don't have to worry about getting her pregnant. Show some respect for her and yourself!!

I think everyone needs to learn more about pregnancy before they start having sex. There have been so many questions like this and it's really kind of scary to think that this many people are out there having sex not knowing how they can get pregnant. If the girl has started her period, which evidently she has, then she can get pregnant ANYTIME she has sex. At times, it's less likely, but always a possibility. If you don't want a baby, don't have sex, use a condom or she needs to go on the pill. Only abstinence is 100% though.

Usually they say that their is a small window to get pregnant, which is in the middle of your cycle. Meaning, you get your period, count two weeks, those few days and then two weeks until your next period. But in really you never know.

You can get pregnant anytime once you start having periods. That includes anytime before, during or after your period. If you don't want to get pregnant, use a condom or get on the pill.
