***Mud and straw bricks (primitive) - Mixture of mud and straw

***Portland cement concrete - This common concrete consists of Portland cement, mineral aggregates (generally gravel and sand) and water.

***Plywood - the first type of engineered wood to be invented. It is made from thin sheets of wood veneer, called plies, which are stacked together and are bonded under heat and pressure with strong adhesives, making it a composite material. A common reason for using plywood instead of plain wood is its resistance to shrinkage, twisting and warping.
