I recently saw Heavenly Creatures, the movie was very interesting. I researched it online and alot of sites say people are fascinated by the murder. I just wanted to know if anyone is and if so why?

They killed Pauline's mother in 1954 with a brick, very bloody. She took 45 blows to the head. They the mother as a reason they couldn't run off together and become famous. They spent 5 years in prison and then let out. But on the condition they never saw eachother again.

I'm not so much fascinated by the murder as by the imagination and creativity of the two girls who happened to be involved in the murder. Just think...had they never committed the murder we would have never known about their bizarre and--ahem--fascinating relationship.
