Love is sometimes painful, actually not loving someone is the cause of pain but if your loved one behaves in a certain way or doesn't return your feelings that will hurt. You have to take the good with the bad, taste the sour to be able to enjoy the sweet.

Because sometimes, you may love someone, but you just can't be with them, maybe they don't like you, or don't even realize you exsist, or just want to be "friends". And you may really love this person and there is absoulutly nothing you can do about it, so it begins to hurt inside. Or maybe, you have issues with a bf/gf, and they may treat you bad, or doesn't seem to care about you, but you still may love him. It's how life goes. Sometimes we just have to learn to let go, and move on. And hope that eventually we will feel some relief.

Maybe that's the most obvious sign that you really ARE in love!!!

what will follow next is.... you will be far more tolerant of the things that they pull then you would be otherwise.

You will also find yourself doing things that you NEVER thought you would do in your right mind

If love is hurting, speak your mind to your partner but always be tactful... never accuse ( without some proof ) listen to your heart and above all don't be afraid to walk if its not working out.

good luck.

If it doesn't hurt when they aren't with you---then it isn't love. But it doesn't have to be all bad. If you are hurting, this kind of pain is an excellent tool for art--whether its drawing, painting, poetry or music---try it and don't take it all bad---think of it as inspiration. Good luck to ya!

I would say that you probably pick the wrong people to love, People who don't deserve it, don't reciprocate and walk all over you. You should wait for someone deserving of your love and you will enjoy loving someone, not always be hurt.

Giving of one's thoughts, feelings, and total being to someone without any knowledge of whether that love will be returned or when, can be very difficult. Our total being is wrapped in to this other person without a safety net. It tears our inner being when we are the most vulnerable.

More information but here is what I think. All relationships, unless your not close, has a bit of drama here and there. So sometimes your so fed up with it you want to break it up with that person yet you remember the good things about that person and you just can't break it up with him/her. In the end your stuck in a place where your constantly fighting over what to do...which results in you getting hurt.

No it doesn't.

Self love is very wonderful and non-hurtful.

He who just loves himself will have no rivals.

Any how I went all through my life thinking it was stupid and impossible to hate the sin without doing the same for the sinner, till I found out I had been doing it all my life: to myself.

I think because love is not logical, it's an act of emotion and feeling. one of the things u can do to avoid feeling hurt is to NOT have great expectations.
