It has become so big that my abdomen is heavily distending and it's very uncomfortable. My boyfriend has tried to get it out because he says it's not good for me. My doctor says it's quite normal and there's nothing to worry about. He has one too.

Did you know that every segment can make a new worm? Don't try pulling it out. See another doctor or pharmacist. In some countries there may be some non prescription remedies. I'm not sure if wormwood would work on this kind of worm, but I think it's non prescription.

Did you tell your dr that it is uncomfortable to you? It sounds like you may not have told the dr everything if it is uncomfortable and he only says do not worry about it . I think you should make sure he knows how uncomfortable it is for you or see another dr .. Do not dry removing it yourself
