I arrived as the only male in an all female Tribe on Celebrity Survivor. Do you think this was a hindrance or an advantage for me?

Well I think men would have a better chance of serving on a deserted island in a real situation if there weren't enough souses or iron for obvious reasons. But besides that I think men and women have there equal strengths and weaknesses. And I think being the only male in a group would have its up sides and its down sides. the up side is obvious "your the only male Te-He" but the down side would be the females would want you to do all the hard work :(

I think initially, arriving as the lone male would be an advantage. Further into the game (if the tribes members remained the same) it would be a hindrance in the form of being a threat, not a disadvantage.

I think men would cope better being surrounded by other blokes, but I know I'd go mad if I had to put up with a bunch of girly girls like you did!

Men kick friendship around like a football but it never seems to split - women treat friendship like glass and it often cracks.

I also tend to think that the men would be more likely to eat things that the girls would not wish to eat and the men would also be more likely to kill for food if the opportunity arises.

By the way, are you free this weekend? lol

To answer first question, I believe men would be able to cope much easier than most women. Women are more materialistic whereas with men, anything goes concerning living conditions. (I'm guessing here). As for second question, I'd say a bit of both. How many men will have the opportunity to be on a deserted island and so close to so many hot bods? A dream come true maybe. On the other hand though I think you will have your fill of the female gender by the end of the game. Fun none the less.

Justin, men i think can definitely handle the more physical work however i think women can too, but men are stronger!! I think this may be a hindrance to you only because i think you would win more on the other team with the guys in physical challenges however you do a fantastic job on the womens side and you have the brains for the more intellectual challenges!! Who wouldnt want you on their team i certainly would! Its definitely an advantage from the womens point of view! :)... I also think the women would find it better talking to you amongst all that bitchiness! so you can look at it from both sides really- hindrance and advantage!!:) you are awesome though keep up the good work! :) Love you!

A hindrance hunny - coz you're on the same island as Fiona Horne!!! Seriously though - I do think it was a hindrance as it seems you are expected to do all of the "boy" things. Although you are on an island with a group of women - many would say it would be an advantage!! Depends on how you look at it i guess!!

Well, first of all, man , u r lucky! U have got lots around u, mate!
Hindrance or advantage? Well, both, actually, I think.
Hindrance - no man to talk to abt ur private issues. u can talk to women as well but not that well (right?). Most of the time, women tend to form their own grp, so u are left out. I hope that didn't happen to you.
Advantage - if u single, u have got a good chance to talk to many! U can also get to know their difficulties and then help them out. U can improve ur impression in this way!

well that depends as to how you veiw your situation.....what are you like in your everyday life ??? do you pull your weight? or do you slack off and sleep on the couch/hammock/deck chair???? The differences in each person, whether they be male or female, depends on how they react to the situations they are forced to deal with, and how they are raised, the reality programs were based upon stressful situations and how the media producers think that different people react in these circumstances.....Were you made to do all the work or were you seen as the 'play toy', Justin? As most women, in situations like this whether they be celebrity or not, will either step up to the plate or will play the helpless damsel in distress, because this is the way they are raised, not knowing who or what ages the females in the program, in your group were, my guess is you would have had to do a fair bit of the work yourself as the average women would have been to worried about breaking a nail, i be willing to bet though that there was at least one 'tough bird' that gave you a run for your money though......

I believe you would be in trouble, unless you are very strong in your people skills,my reasons.

there will be a natural leader to the Woman, and you will be viewed as a threat to her, if this leader is wise she will use you in a us against him , she will not directly point you out as the outsider she will not openly attack you, she will be kind and friendly, she will use you to accomplish things for her , she will make other woman feel threatened by you. I do not believe your gender is a hinderence , know that Survivor is a game, others will try to play you, you need to be the player not the pawn

Men (REAL men) (I mean men who just automatically know how to fix things, or invent what will solve the problem, could manage to knock down all the threats and opposition and survive.
Extremely rare women, with that mind-set, would do as well or pretty near.
Doddering men, men who stumble into problems, men who can't fix anything would die, and so would most women. Old people whose hands no longer work and aren't so sharp anymore would die too.

Advantage. No alpha male stuff to deal with. After watching the highlights it was clear the other tribe's males were threaten by Ben. Their excuses for voting him out were weak. They got rid of him before he could become top Alpha Male. You don't have to worry about that with all females.
