Efficiency with what? Anything? A generic answer for that is tough. However...
Analyze the task you're trying to accomplish, look for ways to improve it, test out the improvement, and (if it works) implement a new way of doing the task so that you are using the more productive method. Then repeat the cycle, reaching for 'perfection'.
There are various methodologies out there:
- Six Sigma uses Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control.
- Traditional quality tools use Plan-Do-Check-Act.
- Lean: Eliminate waste to improve production.

Hi srikant. good to receive such a different question from u, but u need to be a bit more clear with ur question. where dou want to be more productive (In ur work place, or ur efficieny while doing something creative).. I guess you are talking abt ur inner efficiency. that could be developed when u try to involve urself with that work. if u develop ur interest in anything u do, productivity or efficiency will improve..

we all are already very productive but the only thing is we waste our productiveness in other useless activities.....
evn aftr dat the Most imp. thing comes is " PROBLEM " ===as whn a prblm came in front of us we usually think as we hav been attacked by a problem , why i has happened to, how unlucky i am" etc... etc.... ==== the thin we dunt to do is Rectification of the PROBLEM====
