Easy. Restart your computer in safe mode. You do this by hitting F-8 or ctrl while it's rebooting. Run your McAffee while it's in safe mode or delete it yourself if you know where it is.
VERY IMPORTANT!
Turn off your system restore before you restart in safe mode or your computer will keep the virus.

Remove mcafee. Use the free virus scanner from AVG, i had the HKLM too but it removed it.

Also make sure you have wiped all traces of spyware (that may be installing it) by getting these 2 programs(both free) from http://www.download.com:
1. Spybot search and destroy
2. Ad aware SE personal

hi, perhaps you can try Norton to remove the virus. but you need to pay for the software.
i also recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.
besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.
firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.
download firefox for free:
