If you're after eyeshadows, I would recommend MAC. For blush-ons and lipsticks, go for Lancome (or better yet, Shu Uemura). Estee Lauder's foundations are good.

Well I don't use Estee Lauder, but I do use both MAC and Lancome. I think Lancome is better for foundations, tinted moisturizers, powders, and regular black eyeliner. I think MAC is better for eyeshadows, lipglosses, blushes, concealors, and colored longlasting eyeliners. I think the best mascara is Maybelline. I've tried Lancome and MAC, but they're not anything special. Maybelline is better.

speaking from eyeshadow- i like mac because they have a wide variety of colors to chose from.. but id prefer estee lauder because i like the way it goes on better..
for me i use mac for a playful look and estee lauder for a classy-er look... lancome has very good mascara but thats all i know from them... but yes, id say estee lauder!!

The best eyelash curler is by shiseido, because they make them for Asian eyes, about $16.00. The best foundation is Chanel double perfection compact and its oil free and stays on forever, the best lipstick is either Chanel crystal gloss or juicy tubes by lancome. The best mascara is the new lancome mascara, talk about VOLUME! The best eyeliner is a waterproof lancome pencil that they just discontinued and its the one you can sharpen with a sponge on the other end that looks like someone cut it diagonally

Tyra Banks did a show on this. She tested expensive makeup vs. drugstore and the results were that they are same quality. If u have dough then get what you want. Personally I use all sephora brands. They're great and affordable:)

I love Lancome mascara. It seperates and defines lashes beautifully.

ok, I will tell you my preferences,
eye pencil = Gerlain, great colors and great texture ans smooth to apply.
eye liners and mascara _ eyve saint laurent
Lipstick = L'oreal although it is cheap but great texture and long lasting
Foundation = there is a new foundation by Dior, it is spray very easy to apply and non oily (as I have a terrible oily skin)
Blusher = most of them are very good I use givenchy they have a four color palette that you mix and it gives very natural color.

MAC is made of cocanut and will make most skin brake-out if used frequently and not washed well off.
