Dude, don't do it. Find an interest. You probably sit up in your room all day thinking. If you have a job, change careers. If you don't have a job, get one. Also, I read a book by Sylvia Browne and she said that when people commit suicide, instead of going to heaven or hell, they come straight back to this earth and reliv that same life. So spare the unborn baby that you will come back as the misery you are enduring. Quit feeling so sorry for yourself, wake up, and live!

Just had a quick look at your history in questions and answers.
Weighing up the pros and cons, I would say that you have good enough reasons to keep living.
Do yourself a favour, just for yourself, realize that there have been many others at this crossroad, be different and get the proper medication to restore the chemicals in your brain, which will give you time to rationalize what you are saying.
Then seek out a "spiritual retreat", one that has no ties to religious
beliefs and is a silent retreat. This will enable you to go within and rethink your life's plan.
If you are really serious about suicide, there is nothing much I can say to change your mind, but if you are prepared to look at the options that are open to you, you never know, maybe life wont seem so bad after all.
One good reason to continue, is, you belong here and you have every right to fight to stay here. You must fight you know, because it would be so sad not to see what is further down your path - it could be fantastically good or it could be terrible, but you will not know unless you travel the path.
Yes, there is life after death and if you take your life, when you get there you will realize that you should have stayed and fought for your life.
Good luck on your decision and please make an addition to your question to let us know how you are going. You will love the spiritual retreat if you give it a go.

Look, the best thing you could do is call a counselor and get help NOW. Even if right now, you think it's completely useless and your mind is made up, getting help to treat your depression and to survive this suicidal ideation you're having will be the best thing you've ever done. And, though you won't agree now, you will later.
Besides, you always have the rest of your life to die. If you haven't been in a hurry to do much of anything else in your life, why be in a hurry to do this?
Finally, if you are still determined, then make a list of the ten places you would most like to go if you could. Now, even if you have to hitchhike, run up credit card debt, and/or beg, go see them before you even begin to think of suicide again. Think of it this way. You may literally be in the situation of "What if you only had one year to live, what would you do?" Quit making excuses about how you can't do this or you could never do that. Sheesh, you're thinking of dying, after all. If you've wanted to see Mt.Rushmore(an example!) all your life, there is no legitimate reason for you not to bum your way across America and see it before you finally kick.
Anyway, make a list of the ten places you wanted to see before you die. Now go see them. By the time you are done, you may find that the circumstances of your life have changed so much that you might actually be able to name reasons to live for yourself.

Who or Whatever has Pushed You to this Point would derive such ultimate satisfaction in Your Demise. You are so much better than They are ! Face it, You are One Very Smart and Special Individual ! Really ! Why ? Look, here you are with Computer Internet Access ! The Vast Majority of People in the World don't have it ! Now, with your Brains and Ability, You can either feel Sorry for Yourself, for whatever reason, and let Satan, or whatever negative influence has driven You to Consider this Win, or , You can rise above those Evil Bastards, and Prove once and for all that you're better than them ! When was the last Time You did something for someone You never met before, with no expectation of anything in return ? Try it ! This will give You such a Purpose in Life ! Even if someone Thinks that You're Stupid or Crazy, or have an Ulterior Motive for helping them, You will know that You have done the right thing ! Anyone that wants You to die will be so Totally Pissed when You Prove once and for all just what a good person You are ! There are Homeless Shelters, Animal Rescue Centers, The Meals on Wheels Program, City Rescue Mission, Salvation Army, so many worthwhile Organizations that would gladly welcome someone with your intelligence and ability ! You can do this ! You are so much better than those Evil Bastards that want You to Die ! Piss them off ! Live to be 100 !

Here's an idea for you.
Just sit back and Pretend
you did it!! Don't do anything
that has to do with living or life.
Just be "dead to the world."
Then you will soon find out
all the stuff you would be
missing if you had really done it
.
Drop out if you want to,
and at least you can have
the option of coming back.
Suicide is so darned final.
If you want to stop living,
then just withdraw and wait.
You will see. Besides, I
understand that suicides
go to hell. I am not sure
there is a hell, but I sure
wouldn't want to take a
chance of spending eternity
in a much much more
agonizing position than the
short time you have left if
you live out your natural life!
Best of luck to you.
Now go do something nice
for somebody and forget
about yourself...

Don't be silly. Yes I do believe in life after death, but not if you commit suicide. You are not finished with your purpose on this planet. Do you think you are the only one who has ever suffered? Please...you think you know but you don't. Do you want a reason to continue living? The reason is because you need to learn to love yourself. Love you. Say to yourself there is no one else on this whole entire planet like me. I am unique. I have a special purpose and I must go out into this world and find out what that is. Even if you have no where to go, you can travel to faraway lands through books, literature, learn, explore, there are so many wonderful things to learn about this great world we live in. We are all connected with one another....don't waste a life for nothing. You are a light that God put on this earth and your life is meant to touch the lives of many people...you just don't know it yet.
I would suggest you read...anything that brings you comfort...the Bible, poetry...read other people's feelings...you will soon find strength and a sense of purpose and you can make something of yourself and learn to love people, even total strangers...strangers are after all just friends waiting to be discovered.
Good luck.

This should be treated as a temporary phase. Many of us have morbid thoughts at times. Moreover, we cannot see our entire life's path from where we are right now. But God can! Pray hard and leave it to the Maker.
Do get in touch with your local 'suicide helpline'. Then, try to do something good for those less fortunate than you. You will see that things could have been worse. Living and caring for others makes us realize the purpose in our own lives. Suicide is a selfish thing to do.

I'm sorry. You are not alone, although I disagree with your intent. No, I don't believe in an afterlife, but if you do you most likely also subscribe to the concept that suicide is a "sin" and you could wind up deep in eternal doo-doo.
One good reason to continue? Read "Steppenwolf" by Herman Hesse. I admit it's not an easy book to read, but if I can summarize: There's this guy and he feels like you do. He makes a deal with himself. He keeps a razor in the medicine cabinet, and if when he hits 45 he still feels that way, then he's going to put that razor blade to use. But he will grit his teeth and stick it out for that long. Turns out he was really, really glad he did.

If you'd like to leave some money behind, hit me up...if not, than have fun...just remember that suicide is the easy way out. everyone is fighting a battle of their own. its also a really selfish thing to do. Your suffering won't last forever...but I don't care either way. It won't make a difference in my life. But if you would like someone to talk to, give me ten points for the best answer, and leave a comment with your email address. I'll write you...good luck
