Your first statement is obviously incorrect. Abortion is legal, therefore murder is legal.
Sad facts.

Get over it and mind your own business. What if a woman was raped? Should she have to go through the trauma of having the baby and possibly ruin her life? If she was very poor, couldn't afford birth control and had a child should she raise the child in poverty? Are you going to give her money to raise the child? The answer is no. Are you going to pay for the childs healthcare? No. What if the child was going to have a horrible defect that would make the childs life painful or unable to care for themselves, should the poor child be brought into this world to suffer simply because you believe abortion is wrong? What if the pregnancy would put the mother in danger? Should she sacrifice her own life to continue the pregnancy? What if a young girl in middle or high school got pregnant. Should she have to drop out of school and ruin her life in order to have the child? She has a life too so why should she sacrifice hers for an unborn fetus? I bet you are against birth control also right? Because it prevents a precious pregnancy. Well if you don't want abortion then the government needs to pay for birth control so that a possible pregnancy and abortion can be prevented.
The reason that they make an exception to abortion dduring the 1st trimester is because at that far along, if the fetus was born it would not be able to survive on its own. It is living off of the woman and if she does not want it then she should have a right to do what she wants with her body. It must be really nice to sit in your house and preach to people about abortion but I'd like to know how many times a month you go to poor communities and give the mothers money and food to care for their children?
Why are people so against abortion but when a child is born then its on its own? Pro lifers and the government no longer care if the child has an adequate standard of life or healthcare after birth. As long as its living that all that you care about, who cares if the child is living in extreme poverty with no healthcare, not enough food or clothing and in horrible conditions? Right?

1)its not about mother wants to kill her child! i guess no mother will kill the life within her without the reason. if u will understand that if the option of abortion is not their then there will be lots of single parents and worst than that there will be no control over population! over that the government will come under the pressure to take care of unemployed single mothers
2)very important point- when u do abortion u abort the substance in Ur embryo which still does not have life in it! one the embryo develops u cannot abort the child even if u want ,because then it becomes alive.
3) if u r talking about special cases like killing female embryos because of some stupid stupid superstitions around the world then i am agree to u . and by the way it is also not legal!

Because, Bozo, only the mother knows whether or not she's able to properly care for the baby and it's none of your business.
Why do you feel that only clowns like Pat Robertson or Sam Brownback or Jerry Falwell, all of whom lack medical training, should make that decision instead of the mother?
If you're against abortion, don't have one. But please don't call yourself "pro-life" if you want to see thousands of women maimed and killed by back alley abortions, which is EXACTLY what'll happen if abortion is ever outlawed. Remember, outlawing something is not the same as ending it. (Look at how well our drug laws have worked. Giggle, snort.) And also remember, the vast majority of Americans, even a majority of Republicans, are pro-choice.

I think because back in the days it was unheard of and not proper for a young girl to have a child. So abortion was the right answer for them at the time !Then you had woman that chose not to because something was wrong with the child !I used to think if the child was going to be deformed and not live it would be ok and if you were raped ,but I met a girl that her mother was raped and chose to have her and it was so sad to think I would think that of a human being ever again ,not saying rape is acceptable in any way because its not!Its a choice which doesnt seem right in some peoples eyes and its a choice that seems right in others .touchy subject.

It depends on how you view this!!!! Do you believe that the zygote/embryo/fetus is alive the moment it's been fertilized? If so, then you'd consider it murder. If not, then you wouldn't. Duh. Besides, there are other factors like... sometimes, the mother doesn't want to birth a child who was the product of a rape. Ugh.... whatever. I give up. Go search for this sh*t if you really care so much! There are a sundry of reasons why launched from both sides. Too long to say all at once...

You woman make me sick! I cannot believe most of the responses in here! I do have two ovaries, so I guess I do get an opinion! I vote for life! How is it a woman's choice, if it is another person's life that is being taken? Why am I pro-life, you may ask? Because my life is the meaning of pro-life...I WAS supposed to be aborted almost 25 years ago. No, life is not perfect, but at least I was given the chance! I thank my birth mother wherever she may be for changing her mind, and giving me the blessed chance of life! If it weren't for her courage, I wouldn't have met my wonderful Husband, and been given the most beautiful gift of all...my own sweet little baby girl!

Are you serious? My opinion is that if you don't have a pair of ovaries you don't get to decide what I do, so you'd better have em.
I know, maybe you could take all of the unwanted babies in this world. They are being spared a life of feeling unwanted and a likely miserable existence.
Abortion is legal because it's not murder. It's not even an issue anymore.

that's what religion teaches you, but those who are not religious have rights as well not to practice those teachings. You seem a little sheltered, maybe you should be more open-minded. Having an abortion to something that doesn't even have a developed thinking brain over raising a child in a horrible environment sounds appealing to some people.

Because a foetus isn't classified as a human being until they are 12 weeks old (pregnant) It is up to the woman and her partner to decide whether or not she wants to terminate a pregnany and I do believe that it should be each to their own. A woman shouldn't be condemned just because she has made this monumental decision in her life.

You'll hear things like; the mother has the right to her own body. Why doesn't that living being have his/her own right? The mother has the right to her own body, but when do we get to hear the voice of the unborn child. Once again I have to say this is Satan's doing. Make them all believe that it isn't murder. We live in a "throw away society". Throw away my baby, throw away the elderly, throw away everything.
