i totally agree with malaprayala...... getting your period is supposed to mean you ARENT pregnant. pretty screwed up i'd say. and if pregnancy tests arent always right, then there really isnt a stable and 100 percent way of knowing unless going to a doctor whick sucks. oh well.

That doesn't make sense though... the whole point of having a period is so your body can get rid of the stuff it would need to protect and nurish a growing fetus because there is no fetus...
Also if you're pregnant your body should send out a hormone that stops your period from taking place...
I really don't know how it's possible to have your period while pregnant and not kill your baby...

Yes!!! Not all women do. Remember our bodies are all different. I had my period the first month or two with both of my children. It can be deceiving, but yes it does happen to some women. The only thing was I thought I had the flu, but no difference in menstrual cycle except cramping. Sometimes this could mean you are threatening to miscarry. Keep following up and if the test result is positive most likely you are pregnant. If you really think you are pregnant you may need to go to the doctor and have a test with clean catch urine or a blood test. They can usually tell by your cervix too.

Hope this helps. Best Wishes!!!

Yes it is possible. It's called a "hidden pregnancy". My mom had hidden pregnancies with me and my brother, and sister. USUALLY you have a light period or just spot, but I have heard of a few (including my mom) that had just a regular period.

My Mama told me that she didn't know she was pregnant for 6 months with me, The Dr. told her she had a stomach disorder because she was still getting her period. she went to another Dr. and he said even though she was still getting her period that she was pregnant. Then I was born, cool huh?
