I just took a home pregnancy test and it came up negative, but my breasts are SOOOO sore....is it something else?
p.s. they have never ever hurt like this before, not even slightly during the monthly...

hello honey-
Let me tell you ... you could be pregnant!
I had the worst boob pain..so sore and tender all along the sides and underneath two weeks before my missed period...
I never had boob pain like that before...
Well I waited til I missed a period and took a test and guess what?
PREGNANT!!
If you have never had pain like that before ... I am just going by my own personal experience but I would guess you are!
5 months pregnant with llittle girl

you could be pregnant. before i took a HPT i remember being excited and telling my friend "look at my boobs! have they gotten bigger?!" lol i got pregnant when i was 19. I'm 20 now and my daughter is 6 months old. I hope whatever you find out, you are happy and prepared to deal with it! you should try testing first thing when you wake up in the morning (if you haven't already) because that's when the hormone level is highest. or wait a week(or if you can't stand 7 days, try 4-5 days later) and test in the morning again. good luck! :)

Did you wait long enough to take the test? If you are only a couple days late, it may not show on a home pg test.
If your not pg, it may be that your pms symptoms are just worse this time. I usually never get sore breasts w/ pms but every once in a while I get VERY tender breasts- and it's just pms.
Good luck :)

U can test again maybe the pregnancy test was wrong or you need to visit the doctor for some check-up.

take another test( maybe 3 or 4), different brands. You may be, but your body may just be changing. DO YOU DRINK COFFEE OR TEA? TOO MUCH CAFFEINE CAUSES PAIN IN BREASTS.

It really depends on what you have been doing and how soon after your period as suppose to come. Well either way it goes good luck.

It could be a change in your body.... it could be PMS... and Im sure if you go to webmd.com and put in that symptom (they have a body on there... you click the area and it tells what your symptoms could be) How late are you?

I suggest you see your Ob-Gyn Doctor pronto and get the real facts on why your breasts are tender.

it probably IS your period......I never hurt like that either (except when I was preg) until these past few years when my hormones changed....it's your hormones changing---it doesn't matter what age you are either--your hormones will change throughout your ENTIRE LIFE!!!
