My ex fiance is due next month. She cheated on me in December. Hence the "ex" part. She doesn't know if the father is mine, or the guy she cheated on me with. If the baby is mine, I want to be part of his life. The other guy wants nothing to do with her, or the baby. BUT now, she doesn't want to get a test. I'm stressing pretty bad over this. Any suggestions on what I can do? Can I get a court order to make her get a test?

Yes you can get a court order but if you get a court order and it comes out your then you will have to pay child support. Just think about it and talk to her about it. Just tell her that it would be better if she knew who the father is and the little boy or girl will not have to find out on there own.

Do not sign the birth certificate!! Seriously you can go to court and request a DNA test. If you sign the birth certificate you are saying that you are the biological father and you will be responsible for child support if she took you to court. See if they will do one in the hospital after she has the baby, but if they don't-hold off on signing the birth certificate until you know for sure. If you do decide to go to court to get one done (if they don't do it in the hospital) your name will automatically go on to the baby's birthcertificate since it is through the court, I know that because my mother took my father to court for child support and he wanted a DNA test and his name automatically went on to my birthcertificate and he did not sign it in the hospital. Good Luck to you. I hope everything works out the way you want it to!! God Bless!!

Once she delivered the baby, it will be much easier to do the DNA test. Get help from the O&G that is in charge upon her delivery. Tell your situation. I don't think u have the right to get a court order for something without any reassurance

yes you can take her to court to force a DNA test on her, there are also at home kits you can get online and you can do it ur self with out her ever knowing, you just have to get close to the baby!
you can sign the birth certificate all you want, in order for you to pay child support they do a DNA test if you ask for one, so you wouldn't be paying for a child that is not yours.

Seeing some of your answers on here and questions, if I were her I probably would have cheated on you too. By the way, you should have put "if the baby is mine" in your question instead of if the "father is mine". By the way, if you didn't have a crazy answer to my question, you wouldn't have gotten this answer. Just get a DNA test.

YES you can make her get a DNA test after the baby is born.

After all, if the baby is yours, you have rights as a parent.

Yes you can ask the court. They will make her take a DNA test and she can not refuse.
Good luck to you

It's not yours...or the the other guys either. Call Maury Povich and she can have the 8 or 9 different men she's been banging take a DNA test.

Sometimes (when you know the other man's blood type) you can tell if the baby is yours, with a simple blood type test, if it has your blood type then is yours. If it has the other guys its his. If it has the mother's than you wouldnt know. there are many IFs .

Get a DNA or wait . May he/she will look like you!

Don't sign the baby's birth certificate unless you know for sure. You may get stuck paying for child support even though the baby is not yours. Bad bad bad..
