Contrary to popular belief, No. It is not true. Believe me i've tried. Hair: where it is, what colour it is, how thick it is and how fast it grows is entirely up to your genes. Infact, continually shaving an area as often as you can even when it doesn't need it will irritate the skin, leaving the sensitive pores exposed/ so they could get clogged with dirt resulting in blackheads and spots or just be red and sore.

It will appear as though the hair in the shaved area grows back faster. What it is, you have different cycles of hair growth. If you shave you have "cut off" that hair cycle. The cycles never stop unless the hair follicle has become clogged. Each time you shave the next cycle is ready to go.

No, hair grows out faster at different times of the year. It depends on the seasons and on your body chemistry. Some might experience faster growth at a time when they are shaving more often but it is not the cause for the growth.

If you never shaved your armpits for your whole life do you expect the hair to be down to your knees? No. didn't think so. but it seems to grow faster when you shave it because its growing back. people have hair in certain places for reasons....
yet some people can shave their legs or something and the hair won't grow back for weeks. The way hair grows is pretty odd....

No. It's an observation based on the fact that the shaved area has a cut end so that when it regrows the end of the hair follicle is not as fine as a new hair would be. Plucking *does* stimulate hair growth, though.

It will just grow uneven, try to find a guy who shaved his legs twice and let the hair grow back, it looks ridiculous. A little hair on one side and some curls on the other it's hilarious.

LOL its not completely true, you cant just keep shaving it and expect it to grow all back within a couple days... but it does grow back faster yes. but you can reach your shaving limit, once you shave it soo many times it will remain at the top speed, it has a tolerance lol.

No your hair does not grow back faster. However, it can grow in with more hair. And the color of the hair can change, but it is usually darker in color, or so you think, because it has not seen the sun. So it has not been lighten by it.
