A true friend is someone who you don't have to say anything at all to and it feels like the best conversation ever. A true friend will let you cry, have the courage to tell you when you are wrong, let you get angry, laugh with you, praise you and be proud of you, will never envy or be jealous, accepts you just as you are, and most importantly will tell you when you have food on your face or your skirt stuck in your pantyhose.

I don't really understand but I do a little. I expect the least for a friend to use me for my pet. If you think she is hanging around your pet too much why not join her. she might just switch over to you. If you think she/he is useing you for something like money or to be populer. Try keeping away from the thing you think your friend is useing you for.

Someone is truly your friend if that person enjoys being with you when times are good, but won't abandon you when times are bad. If that person treats you like a good friend until one of their "better" friends comes around, then they aren't your friend. If that person doesn't put in as much as they take out of the relationship, then they aren't truly your friend. You have to be honest with yourself when assessing the situation.

The truth is a true friend, which are rare and hard to find, will stay with you when you are blue and be a real pet when you need them and not just when you're willing to be their pet.
True love is unconditional. They will love you when you are loveable and love you when you aren't so loveable.

A true friend doesn't act as if what belongs to you belongs to them. They shouldn't speak ill of you. They shouldn't borrow your stuff left and right. They shouldn't borrow money and never return it. A true friend offers respect, trust and mutual understanding and is there--no questions asked to lend a hand and support in times of crisis.

You'll know. A true friend will stick by you when you need them the most. Cheesy, but true. There are just certain instances that will show you ( or test ) how loyal your friends really are.

You could pay attention to how this "friend" treats other people. Is it different than how he/she is with you?
To me, the simple fact that you even have to ask the question should be answer enough.

In most cases you don't find that out until you hit bottom and they are there for you, holding your hand through it all. Then it hits you who really cares about you, and who doesn't......
