I'm 15 and 5 months, and I'm 5, 5. I see a lot of kids that are taller than me, and it sort of makes me feel insecure. I was wondering if there were any sports that could help me to grow taller?

Are you a male or female? I'm 5'5 and I'm a 23 year old female. For a male that may be a little shorter than you'd like but you're only 15 and if you're a male you're most likely not done growing. Your height also depends on genetics. Don't worry about your height to much, there's nothing wrong with it. Sports cannot make you any taller. That's predetermined by your genes.

Well, I'm 18 and am 5 foot 2. But I'm also a girl. A friend of mine who's a guy is a little taller than me, and he's 16... Sooo you're not too short. You're a good height. I hate it when guys tower over me.

No, your not short. I'm 31 and 5' tall. Girls quit growing around the age of 18 or so & guys quit growing in their early 20's.

Please don't feel insecure about your height(even though you'll still be growing till at least 18)my son is shorter than me and that doesn't bother him one bit.I'm guessing you are a guy.Manliness doesn't come in sizes,it's who you are on the inside that counts.Be happy until you have something really important to worry about sweetie.

My son is 14 and he is only 5 ft .. Drs say hes average... im only 5 foot as well

im 17 nearly 18 and im 5,2 but I worked with a girl my age and she's alot smaller, being small is a good thing :-)

you're still young... you still have a lot to grow physically...
and besides, the greatness of a man is not measured by his height...
