How long does the process of menapause last and what are the early signs that it has begun?

I am almost 35 (in 2 months), and my periods are still on a regular cycle, but I have noticed that there are more clots the past 6 months or so. Is this the beginning of menapause?

The headahces I get are now more painful also.

I didn't think about fibroids. My mother had 3 fibroid tumors 7 years ago and lost her uterus.

I have been moodier than usual.

More moody then normal period? My wife (before passed) really went through this. I begged her to get help. It lasted almost a year. Please do your man a big help! Get hormons as soon as possible. I loved her more then the world but it was a toss up between the cancer or me there for a bit (haha). Be smart see a doctor

I think http://www.webmd.com would be a better site for this kind of a question.
