Don't have sex is the only way, Even if you are married use a condom, if you want a baby both of you should get checked out for these problems! A couple years ago a lady did a study, She found that 51% of women cheat and 49% of men cheat! So at best you have a 50/50 chance of being safe!

Here is some steps to help prevent AIDs/HIV/STD's.
1) prior to being sexually active, both partners should be tested for all those things.
2) The partners should discuss such issue's as past partners if ever been exposed. Look into that partner's sexual history. Has he been with a lot of girls prior exposing himself to high risk of passing on stds? Has he been with a select view and those girls have been with a lot? Has he ever cheated? Sometimes information can actually make you wiser about your judgment call of to sleep with them AND realize you could be at more risk.
3) Realize intercourse isn't the only way to obtain aids and std's. Need to be aware of any sexual contact (hand jobs, oral sex) or drugs when it comes to passing Aids. Sharring a needle is how my fiance's dad I believe got Aid's and Hep C.
4) Make sure both are faithful. Any chance you feel one partner is cheating. Do not sleep with them, especially unprotective. Safe than sorry.
5) Finally, get tested at least once a year. Safe than sorry. There is a lot of clinics I know that will do it for low cost, if not free. Especially for youths/teens.
Other than that..pretty much will be exposed at any given point of one partner is affected. Condom or not. Condoms break, tear, fall off or leave exposed affected skin the condom doesn't cover.
Not a lot of honest partners will disclose "I have an std" or "HIV positive". Not a lot of partner's know they are affected because they refuse to be tested. That is why to inforce being tested. If not tested, how do you know and can you really trust who you sleeping with at times? Even married couples get affected.....Have to use the best judgment call. If your man or women says "I never cheat on you". That is great but never say never. It is just life.

There is no other way, plus it is not just AIDS. Many other diseases are sexually transmitted, like herpes, condylomas, etc, many of them are incurable and eventually lead to cancer. So always use a condom throughout sex (pregnancy can also happen before ejaculation).

the only 100% way to aviod aids is abstinance. Otherwise a mutral relationship, that you only have sex with that one person, and the same goes for the other.

The best way to prevent transmission of AIDS or HIV is to not have sex. If you do have sex, you must use a condom. Otherwise, if you exchange fluids, there is a chance of transmitting AIDS, HIV, or another STD.

Abstaining from sex. Out of sight out of mind. Otherwise, protection is your best option.
