Wow, that's like asking what kind of hell I'd like to suffer in in my afterlife. Also I speak neither German nor Russian and hence would probably be executed as a spy very quickly in either country.
As a white non-Jewish male I might fare somewhat better in Nazi Germany. Maybe I'd join the underground resistance & help smuggle Jews out to safety. Stalin was more of an equal-opportunity oppressor, he made ALL his citizens suffer.
Then again, it would depend on the time I found myself in. If it was during or shortly after WW2, I might prefer Russia, since the US & Soviet Union were still technically allies then. Maybe in that case they would be kind enough to return me to the good ol' American side. :-)
Either way though, a very tough choice.

I think there was more of an effective underground movement in Nazi Germany against Hitler compared to attempts against Stalin's life. Of course, given the destruction both Hitler and Stalin brought upon the world, I'd have to say neither situation is preferable. Hitler's ideology of ethnic cleansing of the Jews was and is despicable, and I don't think anyone could argue that Stalin's mass purges of everyone who ticked him off was any better. Too bad both of them lived as long as they did.

If I absolutely had to live in either place, I would pick Germany under Hitler. At least he tried to make things good for his people (the ones he didn't murder). There was food, fuel and other basics available.
In Soviet Russia, bread lines, fuel lines, lines for anything that you needed to survive and more than likely would run out before you got to the front of the line.

Hitler was responsible for the deaths of 6 million Jews. Stalin was responsible for the deaths of 12 to 14 million Russians. You do the math.

If I were white, tall, in perfect health, beautiful, blonde and blue-eyed I would choose Germany, join the army, move up in the ranks and get rid of Hitler (the runt that he was - he probably hated himself which reflected in his rulership style). Save England and America the trouble.

under the condition that i'm not Jewish, have blue eyes, and blonde hair, i'd rather live in Nazi Germany.
