He is a college quarterback, with no one to really show him the ropes, so give him a break.

He completed 11 of 19 passes for 125 yards against Denver, and rushed 4 times for 19 yards and a score. Not bad for a rookie who has never played in an NFL type offense. He's a rookie, he will make mistakes. That's how players get better. Do you think Ben Roethlisberger didn't make any mistakes his rookie season? He made tons. Pittsburgh had an awesome running game and an even better defense, that's why they've won so many games. You think Big Ben won them with his arm alone? No way. Bottom line, all rookies make mistakes. Matt Leinart only completed 4 of 9 passes his first preseason game. Vince Young is a gifted athlete. If you watched the Rose Bowl last January, you would know that. Made the USC linebackers look like they were jogging to try to catch him.

He's got a long way to go before he figures out what it is that he's doing out there. It's a brand new offense and he has never had to play under center before. He'll probably need a year or two before he really starts to make any kind of impact in the NFL. Plus they're going to have to give him some better receivers to throw to.

well every rookie makes stupid mistakes ...but vince is a new breed of quarterback -the running and passing qbs..example: michael vick-he aslo needs to improve but teams stay up all night all week to prepare for guys like young and vick..i jus think the titans need to maximize on his talent and not try to contain it by just making him a passing qb

I think he'll be just fine. He's a rookie on a team that is in rebuilding mode. He is already a natural leader, and he has the size, speed, and arm strength to become one of the better QB's of the future. Besides, his O- Coordinator was coaching college last year. When he gets a better set of recievers and the defense starts to gel... look out! I sorta wish he wasn't in my division....

He is a very gifted athlete that has a long long way to go before you could even consider him an average NFL QB. He'll get by on his physicals skills for awhile but if he wants a long and successful NFL career he'll definitely have to adjust and change his sytle.

Man...Good Lord I love to watch this guy. I can't wait to see what he's going to do in this league...I've never seen anything like him. I could easily see a MVP in 2-3 years
