How can we get rid of reservations in the Indian education system?

In India at present reservations is a must. But, not the type we have right now. Our netas are following the vote bank policy now.
Dr. Ambedkar rightly wanted the social justice. But he also wanted the reservations to stop in a decade or so. By continuing reservations our politicians are keeping our socially backward community in uncertainty. Instead, make them open for the competition, Help their education by giving interest free loan, if they are financially weak. Bring them to main stream. Eliminate the caste column from all school collage & governament forms. Impliment education for all firmly. And finally, reserve 100% seats and posts for the DESERVING CANDIDATE.

there are reservations kept for everything in India, if we get rid of the political people who do reservation for their benefit then yes a lot of Indian people will get the jobs, the reservation factor is nothing, but go for the politicians to make money, can anyone tell me exactly how many seats are gone to the reserved community people without paying money, there will be none, so if we really want to get rid of this then no one should give bribe,and should stay with a job, automatically this will go to the richer people who have the money, then the people of India can go on a strike saying the reserved seats are gone to the richer and not to the people who really deserve it, this way we will be able to change the bill also.

Why would you want to? Reservations are maintained and governed by Native Americans as part of their heritage and teachings. The Native American Council governs reservations and all laws. They are not there to be-little the culture, but to further enlighten the generations of Native Americans, to up-hold the wisdom and culture and pride of a Nation of people.

Reservations are cultural abodes, historical and sacred places, places of tradition and tribes of honor and valour. They are part of the history of Native Americans, this Country and it's beginning.

To rid the U.S. of reservations would be yet another National tragedy in the face of what we as The United States Of America means!

LOOK Reservation is a pre planned strategy of political parties which are increasing reservation as they are financed by some foreign countries like USA.CHINA,UK,ITALY etc because of reservation BRAIN DRAIN is occuring and capable people are not getting jobs in indian companies, So itelligent people will migrate to usa,china etc. As the result these countries will develop and INDIA will detoriate and will loose its identity.
SO it is very difficult to stop reservation BUT we can fight by becoming united and vote for the POLITICAL PARTY which is not being financed by any foriegn state and which do not increase reservation. I hope you understand what i mean to say.

what do you mean get rid of reservations ? the reservations were set aside for Indian tribes the U.S. government has no jurisdiction in these areas. they are governed by a ruling tribal council. rephrase your question.

Reservations ahould be categorized in such a manner accoring to the financial conditions of the family. and there should not be reservations categorized for caste.
our government can implement this, but our bloody politicians wont do this, they are afraid of loosing votes, thats why they are trying muslim reservations also rather than cancelling all reservations.
