94 Ford Explorer doesn't start, won't even crank. We tried jumping it, but nothing. Three weeks ago, it wouldn't start but we jumped it and it would go. We had to do this several times. Got the battery recharged and it was good. All of a sudden, it won't start. Any ideas?

WATER BATTERY!!! flip open the rubber covers and fill to the line with distilled water. if not replace the battery. and if that doesn't work check the starter with a magnet. if it sticks it good. if not replace.

OK, so it won't turn over. Do you hear a click when you go to the start position?

If so, the starter solenoid contacts are bad.

battery connections are corroded or the starter has a bad spot in the commutator or thew neutral safety switch is bad. cables could be corroded in side.
