coz, people are so inhibited to ask these 'taboo' question in the face. it could be the sensitivity of the issue and the attached personal capacity or the lack of it that can be very hard to face. they have more courage to ask about them without being seen, and yahoo answers can be a safe for this asking and hiding.

Maybe people didn't pay attention in sex education classes.
Maybe people start to have sex such a young age, that their parents/teachers haven't thought to educate them about sex.
Maybe sex is generally an obsession with a lot of people.
Maybe the people asking the questions want attention in some way, or are looking for answers they can laugh about.

Because people want to know about what's going on. Sometimes the majority knows more than a professional.
I know that if I were to ask my grandmother about something,,,,,NOT CONCERNING SEX,,,,,she would actually give me an old remedy to the situation.
That's the reason why people ask sex questions, because thier is good advice for free! You don't have to pay for anything....

Because most of the questions are coming from people who are sexually repressed in their communities and don't feel ok about discussing sex with their friends...

because there are 10-14 year olds trying to learn adult things. Being 12 my school is buried under rumors of people doing that kind of thing.
