Man's Evil Nature

A bleak day tomorrow might come
With all the sorrows and woes of some
The light of hope shines bright briefly
And vanishes suddenly like it never was
Proof exists of the extent of life's misery
But people are ignorant of it's existence, like of air they are
In the midst of this were to be seen
Some animals pondering what had been
The donkey said, " Spent was my life all these years
Bearing burdensome loads and crying unseen tears "


Said the horse lamenting on his past,
" Covered though my eyes were whilst I was working
My trough was always empty, unlike the master's larder
Though my master was spoken about for his kindness I wasn't the recipient of even a fraction of it "
Lastly spoke the ox of what he'd endured in his life,
" Many a vile abuse was directed at me undeserved,
The lashes were many that I received
I fled one day to distant pastures, green
And live now a life, a contrast to what had been
Saying this, the animals three went their ways
But agreed that man's immediate future was a haze

Evil nature? You just need to come out of the closet and be much happier. Men are not evil! Women who expect men to be evil are truely evil!
