Pirates 2 was bad. Pirates 1 is one of the best movies of all time.

2 missed the mark, it did not capture the energy of 1
i saw the movie opening night , it was funny seeing people coming in dressed up like pirates, I hope number three is better

1. Of course I also liked ROTJ better than Empire Strikes Back. Both Dead Man's Chest and Empire Strikes Back share a lot of similar qualities. (showing the darker side of the characters prevailing.)
Still, it was totally awesome to see Barbosa at the end of the 2nd movie. I am really glad he'll be back for the 3rd movie.

One is sooooo a lot more desirable helpful. i became basically talking to somebody else about this tonight. 2 is a lengthy, noisy action picture that announces surely no longer something. Its sole purpose is to create the bridge between one and three. Unfortuneately, that bridge would were equipped in about quarter-hour. boring!

I prefer the first one, the second felt like just a bunch of scenes rather than a real movie.
