How can I get my military retirement pension information from the gov't quickly?

I need my direct deposit information from the VA and from the DFAS (Defense Finance and Accounting Service) and I really need it quickly, but the government bureaucracies move so slowly. In an age of instantaneous communication with anyone, anywhere in India, it takes me weeks to get information from the governmnet about my own pensions.
