A few weeks ago the news ran a story of a nanny that was convicted of shaking a baby. I think she was in Florida. From the video tapes that were shown its seemed like she didnt do anything wrong. It appeared that she was playing with the baby and there was no physical evidence of abuse. She was convicted. Did she get out of prison? I have not seen any follow up

She was not from England. The baby was not hurt at all and had no sign of injury.

Even video is subjected to the thoughts of the viewer. I hope she was not wrongly convicted

If your talking about the nanny in England, they're saying now that the video was misleading because it was played too fast and made it look like she was shaking the baby when she was actually gentle.

...or maybe that was an episode of Law & Order - i can never tell anymore...

She was British. It happened about 2 years ago I think. Didn't the baby die? I think that's why they nailed her. Afetr all, her job was looking after the baby.
