I would just buy another GSXR 1000, I buy a new one and trade in my old one every year. I ride the best and always have. I dont buy a name I buy what feels and performs best. If you live in US try the California Superbike School, a two-day course costs about $2,000(US) but is well worth it and it should keep you alive. Im not much of a trick guy, "tricks are for kids" is stickered on everyone of my bikes along with one that says "Life starts at 140". But the real test is high speed maneuvering and corners, anybody can learn low to mid level tricks if they got a extra junk bike, but my bike is made for highway only. I have had very few people try to show me up on the road, most tend to ride back into town and show-off. How long can you flash at 190 on a US highway? Can you take a 35mph corner at 70 and correct your self and be at 160 the next moment? I can, not because I think Im the best, Im not close, but because I ride hard every time I ride and Ive done it for the last 15 years on 1000cc bikes. F*ck my first bike was a 89 Yamaha FZR 1000 when I was 17 with no license. I cant count the number of cops I have lost, only pulled over and caught for speeding once and I was in town trapped, thats pretty good for riding like a madman for 15 years, talk to me when you get that much time in, for now stick with a 600 class bike.

It wasn't exactly a lottery. More like Russian roulette.
I wound up with a 2006 FXD 35.
That's a Harley-Davidson 35th Anniversary Superglide.
Far, far different from what I was going to build for myself.
It was a purely emotional decision, one that I do not regret.
Junior told his mother that if he bought the farm in Iraq she was to get Dad a Harley.
I am sure in my heart that this one is exactly the one he had in mind. It was on the production line when he shipped out, just as if he had ordered it himself.
I ride my Harley with pride, not because of what it is, but because of WHY it is.

I'd buy a machine shop and build my own bike completely from scratch. It would probably be something similar to the 250cc 6 cylinder honda race bike that was built in the mid 60's with a much updated wheels frame and suspension.

1999 Hayabusa in gold. THE most beautiful sportbike EVER made
Honda Rune (like, duh!)
Rocket III Not quite up to the Rune's looks, but "enough torque to rotate the earth?" HELLO my baby, hello my darlin'....!
VMax I loooooove a big engine
Warrior (just because it's pretty)
1983 GPZ 1100 for sentimental reasons.
Now I'm probably broke and will have to sell most of them!
