I got stuck in one once...and that too all alone! Thankfully the emergency phone worked and I called for help and within 5 minutes they managed to get the door open...I think i'd have freaked out if I had not got a response on the phone or if they did'nt arrive for a long time !!

No. I'll get on the phone inside the elevator and have the elevator company get someone over to get me out.

To me, it would depend on a couple things.
First of all, am I still on the ground floor, or am i at the top of the sears tower?
Secondly, can we communicate with the phone in the elevator? If the power was out, I'm clawing at the walls.
Thirdly, and this probably would also affect number two, can I get out of the top? I'm clauserphobic, and would probably kill myself trying to get out....but i'd still try.

No, I'm not claustrophobic and most ppl stuck in an elevator get out ok, meaning they don't normally plunge to their death, that's Hollywood.
Consider it a few moments of peace b4 you get back out into your hectic life.

No I wouldn't . Someone would eventually discover it was not working and fix the problem. I guess If I had to use the rest room and couldn't wait, I would then get nervous. Then it would be too late. I sure would be embarrased though.

Depends. If it was an emergency situation then yes but if it was just a normal breakdown then no.

naw, i would entertain myself some how. Maybe entertain anyone else in the elivater.... hmmm what to do in an elivetor.....well i am sure I would figure somthing out.
