Latitute and Longitute will give you a definite point on the surface of the earth. The San Andreas Fault is very long - so at what point do you wish to see it?
The attached map may help you find what you're looking for though.

Yeah, all I can think of is satellite surveillance if they become interested in someone under their FISA dragnets. I don't like big brother getting any more big brothery than it ever was. I've read about it. The are doing it now and saying 'they'll come back for the census questions' according to some folks who post on Ron Paul forums who have had these guys come to the door. That makes it an entirely separate cost with major duplication of effort. (One poster was funny, saying her husband had a 22 rifle in his hand when the census person drove up, since he was about to go shoot a gopher, and the census person kept throwing it nervous looks.)_
