A lot of parents say that their kids are too young to have to worry about their weight(as long as they aren't already overweight). Are they right? I'm 14 and at a healthy weight, but should I still watch my weight or should eat whatever as a way to enjoy being a teen?

Eat healthy - do not go overboard. That is a bad habit! Exercise regularly and I wouldn't worry about it.

Absolutely. Well parents say you don't need to watch because there probably too lazy to make special meals for you or would get annoyed if you refused to eat something. But the world is slowly becoming obese and those who are obese don't usually have as much fun because of picked on and maybe lack of confidence. Everyone should watch there weight, for health and beauty.

Most weight problems start in the teen years. It's not good for normal weight teens to "diet", but being aware of what you eat and choosing to eat healthy now is a good start to a lifetime of good health.

Nope if they're average weight then they should'nt because eating more you can get a little chubby but if you dont eat then u will be like Nicole Richie or something so eat right and try to stay on a balance. =)

im also 14, and wen i see obese ppl, to be honest, it disgusts me and makes me so scared that ill be one of them wen i get older. i try to eat healthy and watch wat i eat, but if im craving chocolate, i eat it. i eat a lot of junk food, but i try to do things and exercise (probably not as much as i should), and im still at a healthy weight. i dont want to die and regret not eating something.
