I think all hotmail email accounts end with just .com? A friend of mine was saying that her yahoo email account is only a .com address? I wonder why my yahoo email account is .com.au?? I am confused :(

While registering you ID you must have taken your country as Australia thats why it is .com.au
If you had opted for your country as USA then your it would only have .com
Even id you are frm a diffent country if you opt for USA as your country then also you would have you id as .com

yes they do, my gf is in Adelaide, and the server she logs on with is in Australia, hence, the .com.au address. Different countries use different address ends....germany is .de for example....however, in the US, .com is a common ending, as is .gov , .org , .edu , etc......

Yes. I think so. All chinese websites have a cn after the .com.
