consider yourself lucky. one i got woken up by a mouse that jumped on my chest in the middle of the night. i was on crutches so i couldnt run away, i had to arm crawl my *** to my mums room so i could cry.
but seriously, if traps arent doing the trick get a exterminator. be careful leaving out poison. at my old work we did that and one ended up dying in the wall. it smelt so bad we had to knock part of the wall apart.

A pal taught me this... Take a 5 gallon bucket and position a saucer on the bottom of the bucket with peanut butter on it. Then take a dining room chair, flip it on it's facet next to the bucket and depart it by myself. Within the middle of the night time you will have to here the saucer clanging round on the backside of the bucket. Which you could even position 2 saucers together so the sound is better. Wha La you will have caught your mouse with out a mouse trap or poison. Now my friend did anything alwful ... She stored her residence white glove clean. She suggestion having mice in her apartment made her and her house dirty and so she would take bleach and fill the bucket where the mice drowned/died. That used to be horrible my mouth dropped to the ground I would now not believe she did whatever like that, that used to be soooo not her I notion but to each and every his own. I told her and told her she used to be going to get and maintain mice due to her apartment being within the core of fileds. Duh .. Field Mice. Any Hoo i'm hoping this ethical trick works for you ....

Chances are the mouse is also scared of you. Go buy a rat poison and follow the instructions there the mouse will go away in a few days. Otherwise, buy yourself a cat to do the mouse chasing for you.
Good luck and take care

They make a nice crunchy noise when you hit them with a hammer.
I built a better mouse trap, all you need is some bait to stick into the bottom of a wide-mouth pop bottle, Balance the bottle on an edge with string tied over head and to the neck of the bottle. When the mouse goes in, he upends the bottle. All you need to do is screw the cap on and toss away.

they wont hurt or bother you, tell your mom to call the exterminator trap them and relocate them
after all they are more afraid you you than you are afraid of them
eww yeah be careful with traps! i used to see huge rats run across the garden into the roof of our house while i was tanning outside! lol it was pretty creepy but we called otu the exterminator and dumb a s s there blocked the two enterances they were getting in and out of then ended up dying in our walls! it smelt horrible! we couldnt go on the computer in the room where the smell was at for almost 4 months! and you could smell it outside and we saw a rat leg hanging out in between the roof anf the house! som my mom poked it to push it in the house or somehting and the leg fell off and my dogs got ahold of it and started running around with it! bwhahah. this is a true story
so be careful of those exterminators out there they're not to bright.........

get a couple of hungry cats or get some fake snakes , ya know , rubber ones to intimidate the rodants , it does work , this may sound crazy , but to keep squirrels out of the attic I put a motion sensor halloween cat that meows and hisses when there is motion in the attic , it meows real load and hisses and I have a halloween head that says , " hey , I see you " when there is motion and now I have no more squirrels in the attic , Iam talking about the things that people put on thier front porch in october , they have them at walgreens or wal mart etc... you can get ones that move also , they have motion sensors on them , they dance and sing etc.... animals do not like them hehehhehehehehe

There is this thing you plug into an outlet and it omits this supersonic noise that only mice can hear, it works, I just don't know what the name of it is. Otherwise, get a cat.
