I don't really see the ACC being a big factor in the national championship race though, they don't really have a one team that has the tools in place to get to the Fiesta Bowl.

I really think the ACC could be on the verge of being shaken up... The playing fields are pretty even, and as a whole it's probably the toughest conference to figure out now that it has expanded and everybody has had a few years to get adjusted. Here's my predictions:

Atlantic:
FSU 10-2
Clemson 8-4
Boston College 8-4
N.C. State 7-5
Wake 6-6
Maryland 5-7

Coastal:
Virginia Tech 11-1
Miami 9-3
Georgia Tech 8-4
North Carolina 7-5
Virginia 6-6
Duke 2-10

I like FSU to beat Virginia Tech down in Jacksonville again this year. Bobby Bowden has always had his way with Frank Beamer. The Seminoles are my pick to play in the National Championship Game. I think they may end up playing LSU for the title.

ACC Offensive Player of the Year: Drew Weatherford

ACC Defensive Player of the Year: Anthony Waters

ACC Freshman of the Year: Sam Shields

ACC Coach of the Year: Bobby Bowden

Clemson will be a threat and so will Georgia Tech with great offensive lines. Both have proven that they can beat some ranked teams so I believe you have both underrated. Talent wise though it's hard to go against the Canes and the Noles.

Me being a FSU Fan, FLORIDA STATE will win it yet AGAIN this year!! And hopefully go all the way to Tempe!! They will have a young but very very talented team (just like every year). Weatherford will be much much better and have less INTs. And Lorenzo Booker will FINALLY live up to expectations and rush for at least 1000 yards! He will also be a sleeper Heisman Trophy candidate.

NOLES All The Way!!!!
