1 Yr Anterior Cervical fusion C5-6 C6-7 with a Titium plate. I have had nothing but increase of pain/symptoms since surgery. Nothing has helped. All has been tried. Now They want to go in Knowing that MRI shows nothing out of wack EMG only shows C6 still damaged and healing not pinched. They what to check C4 & C5 to see if they are causing the problems and just not showing up. If they show then another neck surgery hopfully no more pain?Have to ever heard of this? I know this is painful?

If this is where they inject a dye into the neck region, I had it 12 years ago after the MRI. They give your something to relax you and help the pain, then inject the dye. It felt no worse than a regular shot but you have to lay very still when they give the dye and during the procedure.
I was able to watch the whole procedure above me on a screen as the dye moved thru the cervical areas.
IF a physician is recommending it, do it.
