If it's a cheap item why can't they just toss it in the mail and give us the option of risking the loss? It doesn't seem practical to me to pay 100 dollars for a ten dollar item to be sent by courier.
Do you agree? Is there an option to change the type of shipping from UPS to regular or registered mail?

well it depends how heavy and how far is your item coming from, but some time sellers try to OD the shipping and handling to make money, just be beware of them...

You must deal with the seller on this issue. If you don't read the details before bidding, you are still bound by the agreement you make when you bid. Most sellers are willing to work with you to make the sale go thru. $100 bucks is outrageous for shipping unless it's international or something very heavy.
