Yes. Of course London is a long way east and a quite a bit north.
Basically, London is on the same latitude as around Labrador and Nova Scotia up in Canada, which is waaaay "norther" of New York, therefore London is definitely north of New York. East it most certainly is, by thousands of miles across the Atlantic!
Now, IF you were referring to London, Ontario, then I would have to say it's NorthWEST
When in doubt, check out a globe!
