I feel that male pregnancy is a great thing. In fact, I've heard of that project with Mr. Lee from a while back. I thought it was amazing that he would be willing to do this. The way I see it, if guys want kids, they can either adopt or carry their own! Why should women be the only ones who have to suffer 9 months of pain?
I am willing to bet, though, that you're going to get a couple crazy comments from religious crackpots condemning such actions... blahblahblah... oh well. I guess there's a reason it's labeled "controversial."

I'm sorry, that just violates every basic tenent of reproductive biology. Men have no proper place in their bodies to gestate a baby, and abdominal pregnancy carries a whole myriad of risks to it. And it wouldn't necessarily be just your standard c-section type of procedure for a birth, because the developing placenta would have to attach somewhere, most likely to some vital organ not equipped to handle the invasion into the blood vessels that a placenta requires...and that would likely result in hemorrhage that could be life threatening for all parties involved. Thus, I wouldn't recommend it unless they find some way for a man to either grow a uterus or else have one transplanted.

whats funny is that my daughter will be 2 yrs old and the guy is still pregnant. they need to remove that site or update to what happened to Mr lee and his so called pregnancy. I just think that why do something that will change the balance. If guy were meant to have babies as a back up in case the person that they are w/ can not conceive then they would have been equipped w/ that. and believe me, men would be driving themselves nuts they have a hard time handling a crying baby now imagine being pregnant.

I think that if God wanted men to get pregnant, he would've given them a higher tolerance for pain!
Also, I believe that pregnancy is a very spiritual and emotional process. Not to mention all the physical changes that occur to nurture the baby. What are they going to invent next? The Man-boob?
(I think these scientists could be doing more good focusing on curing infertility in otherwise healthy women!)

I personally dont agree with it. However, if science has advanced enough for this to be possible, and men have the desire to experience the miracle themselves then more power to them. I have benefited from advances in science and if it werent for that I wouldnt have been able to experience it myself. (my daughter was conceived thru IVF - she's 6 months old now). Its not fair that only women can experience the wonderful feelings of a baby growing inside you, but that is how God intended it. I would like for my husband to get the stretch marks and go thru the labor for me though... just kidding

Oh girl that would solve so many problems between men and women, but if you think about it would you really want a man to do it? Think, then we would have nothing to hang over their heads!!!!! Plus, allot use the " I've carried you in my womb for 9 months" thing. So I'm 50-50 on that one.

Well I just wish he could go through all the pain that come with contractions and atually squeezing the baby out his urethra. now that would be amazing.
Getting a man pregnant is one thing but experiencing the pain and the labor is another.

I believe that if God wanted a male to get pregnant it would happen. But who wouldn't want to see every man go through at at least once. They can be a tad insensitive when it comes to the subject.

I dont think a man could handle the pain that a woman goes through, so they should just leave it up to us or we would have crying, whiney, wore out men. Then what would they be good for?
