With my pregnancies, I didn't even show till I was 6 -7 months, and then I blew up to being HUGE.
With my last one, everyone swore I was carrying twins or triplets!
So ... just wait, in 2 months you will be a lot bigger and you won't believe how big your getting!
You didn't know you were pregnant until you felt the baby move? Didn't you miss any periods? Nausea, headaches, tender & swollen breasts, nothing?
I have heard stories about some women who didn't know they were pregnant, until they went into labor or got to the hospital with a very bad backache and out popped the baby! They never missed a period and only thought they had the flu, and thought the baby moving was just gas! Of course, these women were overweight and didn't notice the weight gain that much either.
I was overweight with my last child, and didn't feel her move till I was 5 months along... I was used to feeling the first movements in the 4th month ... I was getting scared when finally she moved.
I would think your baby is fine, as long as you have been eating decent and not drinking alcohol or doing drugs.
Congratulations and hope you have a happy & healthy baby!

Most of the time people don't start showing until around 5 months. Especially with your first pregnancy. In other words, most people can't tell that a woman is 3 or 4 months pregnant. I didn't show until around 5 1/2 or 6 months. So don't stress, stress is the worst thing you can do for your baby!

As long as you are taking care of yourself and taking your vitamins, you and your baby should be fine. I am pregnant with my second and my doctors were very concerned that I wasn't gaining enough weight. Like you, I look like I am three or four months pregnant when I am actually five almost six weeks pregnant. My body did the same exact thing with my first baby and she came out weighing 9 pounds 4 ounces. Needless to say, she was fine, I just have a difficult time gaining weight. If your really nervous, ask your doctor at your next visit. Try not to stress and CONGRATULATIONS!

If you feel OK then normally everything is OK. Every woman carries a baby different. Some carry way out front and some towards their backs. You are probably one of these types and are probably experiencing lots of back pains. My ex carried our 2 children that way, hard to tell she was pregnant at 6 mos. Then in the 8 month, the babies shifted forward as there was no room for them in the back. This relieved her back pains but caused a lot of stretch marks .

It's not about how you look. I've know people who were 9 months pregnant and it barely showed. It has to do with body type, the amount of room you have inside before the uterus starts to push out your tummy. First babies usually aren't felt moving until about 5 months. Subsequent babies can be felt earlier.
They will measure your uterus during doctor visits and will tell you if your uterus is at the right height for your time. Don't borrow trouble, worry only when they tell you to.

lets consider ourselves the lucky ones!
I am the same way.. I am 22 weeks - but I have no belly at all..
no one can even tell I am pregnant..
Dont worry everyone is different...
I just had my ultrasound and my baby girl is perfect and healthy..
You are fine... I am sure in no time we will both pop out baby bellies and will be wishing we were little again!
Congratulations!!!!!!

Is this your first pregnancy? I've never been pregnant but my friends that have didnt show as much in there first as there others. Some of them you could hardly tell at all if they wore the right clothes.
To be sure just check with your GP
Good luck :)

Yes,when i was over ten wks with my son he was very small i didnt know i was pregnant. He was a surprise to me and he was really small. By the time i had him he was 6lbs and 9 ounces and he was considered a preemie because of it and yes he wore preemie clothing as well.He was also a month early and he was a healthy preemie cause i breast fed him.You should ask your Dr and about your weight ........congratulations and i wish u and the baby the very best...goodluck.

No. Must be a first baby.
You do see a doctor regularly, right?!
Is the doctor worried?
If not don't worry.
Some women I know didn't get "breasts" until their 3rd baby!
Even THEN they were SMALL
Don't worry.
Get a sonogram, if things are right don't worry.
Next time you'll be LARGER than life.
That is usually reality!
