innocent people in our own country killed by drunk drivers, drugs deals, gangs, and other forms of hate crimes. where is the out cry for the innocent victems of mexican gangs who are here because thrie parents crossed the boarder illegally.

I refer to mexican gang because illegals live in poverty and their children are the highest at risk to join a gang. that is fact. ever heard of MS13. I will add I don't understand why the battle in the black communitys. the crips and bloods, why do they want to kill each other. I don't mean to sound racist, I'm not just pointing out the facts. and yes there is white gangs who are just as guilty.

i speak about this all the time. some people are just happy diverting attention away from the problems that we have here. i had a discussion with one of my employers daughters about her going to some country over sea's to help with their homeless. i told her why can't she help with the homeless here in this country ? she told me that she hates selfish Americans like me. well call me selfish but i think we should worry about our own house before we talk or try to help someone else's house.

we already know of those. the people in the middle east are dealing with greater peril. they are in the midst of a war with nearly 1000 people dead on both sides in such a short time. americans have it good compared to other nations who constantly have hundreds of small children dieing each day of malnutrition which could be prevented. there are nations where over 80% of the people below the poverty line. open your eyes and look around. some nations have had worse times. in the Democratic Republic of Congo they not to long ago went through the deadliest conflict since World War II. in 2004 an estimated 1000 people a day died. they have had conflict since the 90s. sorry but drunk drivers and gangs are like childs play compared to the horrible things going on overseas. not to say we should ignore our issues but it is time to thing about others.

plus mexicans aren't the only ones in gangs. people of all races, nationalities and such are in gangs so dont generalize.

In America we have a lot of murder, robbery, rape, car jacking and so on, so we are used to it, and we accept a lot of it as a regular thing. Of course it does not have to be that way, but then money talks in America and right and wrong, good and bad, fair and square, equal rights and rich man's rights are all your fault if they just keep happening to you. It is not useful to complain that others are not taking a sufficiently sensititve stand on particular social or political issues and at the same time demonstrate your own insensitivity. Truth might accuse you of hypocrisy. It might.
