Is there a way I can buy something that I can hook onto my computer so I can save stuff to floppys?

you can get an extrnal usb floppy drive for about 40.00 most anywhere they sell electronics and computers and supplies, just plug it into a usb port

Sure, go to your local electronics store, and im sure you can buy a floppy drive, internal, or external for your computer.

For the price of an unreliable, obsolete floppy drive, you can just use a usb thumb/keychain drive...

Yes, you can. However, these days, buying a jump drive or a CD is a lot more economical in the long run.

its an external floppy drive. computer shops should have em.
